Multi-pathway approach
What does multi-pathway mean?
Multi-pathway means each formula targets several biological systems at once, not just one. 01 Mobility, for example, is designed to help support normal joint function, healthy cartilage, joint lubrication, and a healthy inflammatory response within joints. 02 Digestive is designed to help support a healthy gut lining, balanced microbiome, and stomach comfort.
A single ingredient cannot meaningfully support all of those at the same time, so each EmpiriVita™ formula is built around active ingredients chosen for the systems they support together.
How is this different from a typical dog supplement?
Most dog supplements are built around one or two recognizable ingredients at hero doses, with the rest of the label filling space. EmpiriVita™ formulas are built around systems, with every active ingredient included at an amount that supports your dog. There are no “proprietary blends” and no filler dressed up as an active.
01 Mobility (joint health)
What is 01 Mobility designed to support?
01 Mobility is a multi-pathway joint formula. It is designed to help support normal joint function, healthy cartilage, joint lubrication, and a healthy inflammatory response. It is intended for daily use in adult dogs.
What are the seven active ingredients in 01 Mobility?

Why don’t you list Glucosamine and Chondroitin as the main ingredients?
Glucosamine and Chondroitin are widely used, but the research supporting them in dogs is mixed. We chose ingredients with research support for the systems we want to target: Eggshell Membrane and MSM for cartilage and flexibility, Green-Lipped Mussel and Meriva® Curcumin for a healthy inflammatory response, Hyaluronic Acid for joint lubrication, and Boswellia and Manganese for connective tissue support.
Is 01 Mobility safe for dogs with shellfish allergies?
No. 01 Mobility contains Green-Lipped Mussel, which is a shellfish. The label carries a Contains: Shellfish (Green-Lipped Mussel) allergen statement. If your dog has a known shellfish allergy, do not use this product.
Why is the powder colored?
The natural color comes from Meriva® Curcuminoids, which carry the deep yellow-orange of turmeric, and from Beef Liver. There are no added colors. Color can vary slightly between batches, which is normal for a formula made from natural ingredients.
What is Meriva® and why did you choose it?
Meriva® is a patented form of curcumin (the active compound in turmeric) bound to phosphatidylcholine for better absorption, also known as a curcumin phytosome. Standard curcumin is poorly absorbed by both dogs and humans, which is why most turmeric supplements need very high doses. Meriva® is absorbed at a meaningfully higher rate, which is why we can include it at 150mg rather than the much higher amounts you sometimes see on standard turmeric labels.
Is there a caution I should know about with 01 Mobility?
Yes. The Meriva® Curcuminoids in 01 Mobility may be a GI irritant in some dogs. Do not use in high doses with anticoagulant drugs or in dogs with stomach ulcers. Administer during or after your dog has eaten to reduce the chance of stomach upset. The full caution language appears on the label.
02 Digestive (gut health)
What is 02 Digestive designed to support?
02 Digestive is a multi-pathway gut formula. It is designed to help support a healthy gut lining, balanced microbiome, and stomach comfort. It is intended for daily use in adult dogs, including dogs with sensitive stomachs or finicky digestion.
What are the seven active ingredients in 02 Digestive?
Active ingredients
Inactive ingredients: Maltodextrin (non-GMO), Organic Nu-FLOW®, and Sunflower Lecithin.
Is 02 Digestive safe for dogs with shellfish allergies?
No. 02 Digestive contains N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG), which is derived from shellfish. The label carries a Contains: Shellfish (Crab & Shrimp) allergen statement. If your dog has a known shellfish allergy, do not use this product.
How is this different from a standard probiotic?
A standard probiotic gives you bacteria and stops there. 02 Digestive supports the full gut environment: L-Glutamine and NAG help maintain the gut lining, Fibalance™ is a prebiotic fiber that feeds beneficial bacteria, Marshmallow Root and DGL support stomach comfort, and S. boulardii and B. coagulans are two distinct probiotic strains chosen because they are shelf-stable and well-studied in dogs. Probiotics work better when the environment they enter is supported.
Why these specific probiotic strains?
Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial yeast that has strong research support in dogs for digestive resilience, including during antibiotic use. Bacillus coagulans is a spore-forming bacterium that survives stomach acid and shelf storage without refrigeration. Together they cover two different mechanisms, which is why we include both rather than relying on a single strain.
Does 02 Digestive require refrigeration?
No. Both probiotic strains in 02 Digestive (Saccharomyces boulardii and Bacillus coagulans) are shelf-stable. Store the container in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is not needed and not recommended, since temperature swings from a refrigerator to a warm kitchen can introduce moisture.
Does 02 Digestive support healthy stool consistency?
Healthy stool consistency is one of the things owners most often notice as their dog’s digestion improves. 02 Digestive supports the gut lining, microbiome balance, and stomach comfort, which promotes regular, healthy digestion. Significant or sudden changes in stool should always be discussed with your veterinarian.
My dog is on antibiotics. Can I still give 02 Digestive?
Saccharomyces boulardii is a yeast, not a bacterium, so it is generally not affected by antibiotics. Bacillus coagulans, on the other hand, is a bacterium and is best given a few hours apart from an antibiotic dose to avoid interference. We recommend checking with your veterinarian about timing for your dog’s specific medication.
Will 02 Digestive cause gas?
Some dogs experience temporary changes in gas or stool when starting a probiotic and prebiotic formula, which usually settle within the first week or two as the gut adjusts to its new environment. Starting with a half-dose for the first three to five days can help dogs with sensitive stomachs ease in. We also recommend administering during or after your dog has eaten to reduce the chance of stomach upset.
Why partially hydrolyzed guar gum (Fibalance™) instead of regular fiber?
Fibalance™ is a soluble prebiotic fiber that has been specifically studied for digestive tolerance and microbiome support. Unlike less refined prebiotic fibers such as inulin, which is known to cause gas and bloating in some dogs, Fibalance™ is gentle on the gut and ferments slowly enough to feed beneficial bacteria without overwhelming the digestive system.
Usage and safety
How long does it take to see results?
The full effect is typically noticed within four to six weeks of consistent daily use, though some dogs respond sooner and some take longer. Because we produce multi-pathway formulations, some effects will be seen before others. Our 02 Digestive, for example, will show some support in the first week, but will take longer for all pathways to engage. Supplements work cumulatively, so daily consistency matters. We recommend giving any new formula at least eight weeks to realize the full effects.
My dog seems healthy. Should I wait until there is a problem?
Many owners use supplements proactively to help maintain healthy joint function and digestion as their dog ages. 01 Mobility and 02 Digestive are both formulated for daily use in healthy adult dogs, not only for dogs already showing issues. Your veterinarian can help you decide what makes sense for your dog.
Can I give Mobility and Digestive together?
Yes. The two formulas were designed to be used together. There is no overlap in active ingredients, and both are dosed for daily use.
How do I give the powder to my dog?
Mix the recommended scoop into your dog’s regular meal, wet or dry. The 02 Digestive powder is unflavored and the 01 Mobility formula is flavored with USA-sourced beef liver. Each container holds 60 scoops, which lasts from 30 days for giant breeds up to 240 days for smaller breeds. See the dosing table on the Product Facts panel for details by weight.
What is the recommended serving size?
Serving size is based on your dog’s weight and is printed on each label.
Is EmpiriVita™ safe for puppies?
Both formulas are intended for adult dogs over 12 months. We recommend speaking with your veterinarian before starting any supplement in a growing dog.
Is EmpiriVita™ safe for pregnant or nursing dogs?
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. We recommend speaking with your veterinarian if your dog is pregnant or nursing.
My dog is on medication. Can I still use EmpiriVita™?
Some ingredients can interact with certain medications. The 01 Mobility formula contains Meriva® Curcuminoids, which should not be used in high doses with anticoagulant drugs or in dogs with stomach ulcers. With 02 Digestive, absorption of drugs taken simultaneously may be delayed, so timing matters. We recommend reviewing the full ingredient list with your veterinarian before adding any supplement to a medicated dog’s routine.

Do you use fillers, artificial colors, or artificial flavors?
No artificial colors and no artificial flavors. Inactive ingredients are listed in full on every label. 01 Mobility uses Beef Liver (USA Source) only. 02 Digestive uses non-GMO Maltodextrin, Organic Nu-FLOW®, and Sunflower Lecithin. Nothing is hidden.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account or by emailing support@empirivita.com. There are no cancellation fees and no minimum number of orders required.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship from our fulfillment partner within one to two business days, with delivery in two to five business days within the contiguous United States. Shipping is always free, on every order, with no minimum.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. International shipping is not available yet.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee on your first order. If you are not satisfied, email support@empirivita.com within 60 days of delivery and we will arrange a refund or replacement. You do not need to send the product back unless we ask.
